Brooklyn Movers Trusted Moving Services by Dumbo Moving
You Can Trust
Dumbo Moving & Storage is a licensed moving company based at 15 N Oxford St in Brooklyn. Brooklyn is where we started in 2006, and it’s the borough we know best: our crews handle local, long-distance and commercial moves across Brooklyn, from brownstones in Park Slope and Carroll Gardens to walk-ups in Bushwick and Williamsburg and high-rise buildings in Downtown Brooklyn.
Local moves start at $225, and every estimate is itemized before your move is scheduled.
Why Choose Dumbo Moving?
Brooklyn is our home borough and where we've been operating since 2006. Every crew we send out knows the streets, the buildings, and what it takes to move efficiently in one of NYC's most densely packed boroughs.
Licensed & Insured
Licensed for local and interstate moves: USDOT 1543241, NY DOT T-36990 and ICC MC 573935, with insurance coverage for your move.
Brooklyn Neighborhood Experts
We've moved thousands of residents across Park Slope, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Carroll Gardens, Greenpoint, Fort Greene, and beyond. Brooklyn's building stock is varied and demanding, and our crews are prepared for all of it.
Transparent Pricing
Your estimate is itemized and confirmed in writing before your move is scheduled. With a guaranteed-rate estimate, the figure you approve at the start is the figure on your invoice at the end.
Professional Crews
Trained, background-checked movers who handle your furniture and belongings with care and efficiency. Every crew member is a direct Dumbo Moving employee, not a contractor sourced for the day.

What Our Customers Say
Don't just take our word for it — hear from thousands of satisfied Brooklyn residents we've helped move.
Absolutely amazing experience! The crew was professional, fast, and incredibly careful with all our furniture. They navigated our narrow Brooklyn walkup like pros. Made moving day completely stress-free. Would recommend to anyone moving in NYC!
Best movers in NYC, hands down. They showed up right on time, worked efficiently, and absolutely nothing was damaged — even my grandmother's antique mirror. The quote was accurate to the penny. Fair pricing with zero surprises.
Third time using Dumbo Moving and they never disappoint. This time we moved our entire office in Midtown — 40 desks, server equipment, the works. They had us up and running in the new space by Monday morning. Incredible logistics.
These guys are the real deal. Moved my entire 3-bedroom apartment in under 4 hours — and we're talking a 4th-floor walkup in the Bronx. They wrapped everything perfectly, no scratches on walls or floors. Highly recommend!
